6-24-13 Murdock has a pending adoption, after his meet and greet. Murdock is doing very well with Sue and we are hoping that he will be ready to join Joann after July 4th. Murdock has already picked up house training, sit, wait and how to be a house dog. Murdock is very smart!
3-13-13 Murdock and 3 female ACD's come into rescue after being abandoned on a Michigan property. Murdock is a small red male, weighing about 20 pounds, yet needs to gain about 10 pounds due to his being starved.
3-14-13 Murdock was neutered today, vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped and dewormed. Our vet ages him around 2-3 years old. Murdock is a very friendly boy, as are the 3 females. They will make good companion ACD's, but may or may not make good working dogs. The phone call asking for help said they were used for herding, but I don't see that "drive" in them at the moment. Of course, they are more worried about catching up on groceries.
