4-27-14 Velma had a meet and greet today, with a deposit put down for her adopter to bring her home around May 18th. Until then, we are planning on some meetings, while they get to know each other.
3-27-14 Velma comes into rescue from an out of state shelter, where she thought to be bred. Ultrasound has confirmed that she is not going to have puppies. Velma is a "velcro" girl who follows you around so close, it is hard to even get a picture of her. She is very sweet, and gets along well with other dogs. She seems to travel well, as she was on a 12 hour plus transport. Her paperwork states she is 18 months old. We will see what our vet says on Monday when she is vetted. Miss Velma is tail challenged.
